Outdoor Learning
Our school places great emphasis on the value of outdoor learning from Nursery all the way through to Year Six. Teachers work together to provide creative and engaging learning experiences for all children using the outdoor spaces at every opportunity.
We have been blessed with a large outdoor space which has recently been renovated to incorporate a green space including a large greenhouse and planting beds where our children grow herbs and vegetables; an outdoor classroom which is used by all year groups to support and enhance curriculum learning experiences; a bird tower where the children are encouraged to observe, respect and conserve nature; and a muddy kitchen enjoyed by all the children at Holy Trinity CE Primary School. We are very excited to see a pond and observational deck along with eco-friendly power supplies currently being constructed as the newest additions to our outdoor environment. This will be used by all children during learning time particularly in STEM lessons.
Keep an eye on this page for updates on all of the wonderful learning experiences the children are involved in outside the four walls of their classroom!
