Assessment Results

To ensure that the school is continuing to improve the Leadership and Management Team and Governors use a variety of audit tools and tracking systems.

In addition to these the schools Key stage attainment and progress data is published on the Department for Education Website and the school is subject to Inspections by OFSTED and the NATIONAL SOCIETY.

In the academic year of 2019-2020 the coronavirus spread across the world resulting in a global pandemic. This had an impact on daily life and disrupted face to face learning in schools. The schools closed from March 2019 to July 2019, then again in January 2020.

As a result of the disruption to face to face learning, the Department for Education (DFE) cancelled all end of year statutory assessments for 2020 and 2021. These include Early Foundation stage Profile, Year 1 Phonics Screening, Year 2 Reading writing and maths and Year 6 Reading, Writing and Maths. Therefore there is no published assessment data for these academic years.

There is no national data for SATs in 2022 although the children completed the tests, the results were not published. This is due the COVID pandemic

We continue to assess children’s learning in lessons (formative assessment) and also at the end of a term (summative assessment).
